Gracie's Kittens Have Their Eyes Open

GOOD MORNING FROM CHERISHD SIBERIANS in Culpeper, Va.  where it is wet , rainy , and cold today.  Not a good combination. 
     However indoors, Gracie and the kittens don't know a thing about that today.  And the kittens are 20 days old now and their eyes have opened and they are wiggling about and trying to stand up a little. 
     ALL 5 of Gracie's litter HAVE been adopted.  I simply did not have enough kittens to cover the list that I had.  Some have gotten kittens elsewhere and some want one a bit later on, so I got as far through the list as 5 little babies could go.  And I hope the rest will stick with me to get a kitten from my next litter.

 HERE"S our little Blue Girl with White.  She is so cute.  The couch is in miniature and the tea cup is life sized.

 HERE'S our Cream Colored Boy.  He has a good size head and shoulders like you want in a Siberian male.

 OUR first Colorpoint Girl has darker nose coloring and has bluepoints on ears,  feet and tail.  She is adorable.

The second Colorpoint Girl is whiter in color, but still has blue coloring on her ears, feet and tip of her tail.  Such a sweetie.

And finally our BLUE Boy, he has the massive head and shoulders that is great in a Siberian male. He is a wonderful Siberian boy specimen. (smile), but then again, I think they ALL look great and so  cute and I am glad that they have all found homes now.  I had so many on my list and still others who are wanting kittens soon.   BUT good news there too.  Maliha may be delivering in 9 weeks.  Time will tell if she is truly pregnant, but I am hopeful.  So I will contact those on the list as soon as I know.
    I hope the pictures warm your hearts, as this cold day doesn't allow much warmth in a physical way.   So thank you for watching and there will be more as they grow.

Gracie's Surprise

Would you believe that Gracie's due date was off a bit and she delivered 5 beautiful kittens the night of Tuesday the 2nd.  She is doing well and the kittens are healthy and wiggly and squeaky and doing very well.  One cream colored boy, one colorpoint girl, one either colorpoint or flamepoint (time will tell) boy, one blue girl with white on her face, and one blue boy..
     Now I need to contact all those who have called in the last 3 months looking for kittens (there were 18 people) and only 5 kittens, so I have to let you know these kittens are probably spoken for.  But, if everyone has already found kittens elsewhere, I shall definitely let you know on this blog.

 So here are some pictures of the new babies.  Grainy, but I can do better when they are older. They are about the size of your thumb from tip to the wrist bone.  So cute .

So, from Cherished Siberians I  close today with a happy smile for having another beautiful, healthy litter.    Yeay.

Good Kitten News

Good Day to all from Cherished Siberians in Culpeper, Va.  And good news for kittens also.  It seems apparent that Gracie is with kittens now.  She should be (according to my calculations) to be ready to deliver about December 12th.  Then 10 weeks later they would be able to go home.  She seems like she will have a small litter.  Although I've been fooled by that before. So we shall wait and see what develops
     I DO have people waiting to hear of upcoming litters who I will contact first, but  I know many have been requesting kittens about this time frame too.  So this should be happy news.  YEAY.

I've Returned

Good Morning from Cherished Siberians in Culpeper, Va. 
     I've returned from Oklahoma.  I went for two weeks.  I drove for two days over there and stayed with my friends who I was visiting.  Saw many beautiful sites and drove back two days.  And it was a LONG drive.  But it was worth it.  I really liked the Comanche Museum I was able to visit while I was there.
     SO, when I returned my last kitten goes home.  I will not have kittens for a few months now.  Hoko is my next hopeful.  She is with Joey now.  Gracie was with Joey, but I honestly don't think she is expecting.  Time will tell, but it didn't seem likely that it took.
   And I am looking forward to some nice pictures from the happy homes the kittens have gone to.  I do love getting updated pictures from the loving households they are in.
    So with winter trying to push its way in here, keep warm and happy and I'll tell you as soon as I know who is expecting kittens and when.

Good Morning Gentle Readers, 
     Currently I am not in Culpeper, Va.  I am visiting friends in Oklahoma, where the wind really does sweep you off your feet.  Whew.   But Mt. Scott is beautiful and the night sky is gorgeous when the sun is setting.  And to see old time friends is the best way to see beautiful country. (smile).
     While I have been away,  I , of course, have someone caring for all my cats and kitten needs.  AND I have one kitten who was returned because her mom was severely allergic even to the Siberian breed.    SO, I have a female, blue tabby available and she is a cutie.  And the girl said that "Mable" is very people friendly and outgoing.

She is back at my home now and with her mommy again for now.  But we would  like to see her get a forever home.  I will be home again in Culpeper in another week, so please leave me messages at the phone number  540-727-8950.  And everything can be solidified when I return.
     So for right now,  I am having a grand time visiting and will write again when I return to my very busy home (even when I'm gone).

No Available Kittens

Good Morning, I am sad to announce that Cherished Siberians has no available kittens at this time.  My babies from Maliha's litter have all gone home.  Except Charlie , who is being picked up at the end of this month.
     But the 3 girls need a little rest before going back into motherhood.  Gracie , who should have been pregnant, turned out not to be .  And she is with Joey now, but she doesn't seem to be actively in heat.  So time will tell there.  Hoko could be mated in her next cycle which will probably be next month.  And Maliha needs a few months'  break .  But, I will keep you informed when there are kittens on the horizon.
   In the meantime, everyone seems to be very excited about their kitten choices in this litter.  Maliha's kittens in this litter, were so people oriented and friendly.  They outshined some of the past litters in social skills. (smile)  Go Maliha!!   Well,  Bye For Now.  Culpeper, Va.  Cherished Siberians will be so happy to hear from you in the next few months.

     Maliha's 7 are ready to go home now.  If the new owners will please contact me and set up a time for taking them home, that would be great.  And I need Mable's mommy to call me at the Cherished Siberians line 540-727-8950. 
     Gracie will be going in with Blue Ridge Joey and hopefully be expecting her new litter 9 weeks after that.   And Hoko can  also, next month.  So hopefully we'll be expecting some new kittens around here.  Sorry Gracie wasn't pregnant when I thought she was.  That would've been great, she would be having her litter this next week-end.  BUT instead she went back into heat. (smile)  Time to start all over.

MY  BEAUTIFUL GRACIE,  will be the next one with a litter I believe.

SWEET AND GENTLE HOKO is the next hopeful after that.  She is the most likely to have colorpoints for those who were asking.  But they always surprise me with the color combinations in each litter.  So there may be one sooner.  We'll have to wait and see.

And MY PRECIOUS MALIHA  is going to get a much needed rest for a few months.
   So stay tuned, and we'll be off and running again and I'll call those who have asked to have specific kittens and colors and such.

GOOD Morning, afternoon, (depending on when you get up)  (smile)

     I apologize for my lack of pictures for Maliha's litter this time around.  My normal picture taker helpers are not as available at this time.  SO , put up with the low quality photos that my phone takes.  It's the only way I know how to take photos and get them on the computer.  I am learning more about the computer all the time, but a lot goes in one ear and out the brain just as quickly.
     So without further ado... here are some pictures.

This little girl's name is Valentine (chosen by her family)

This is Boris,  now,   Boris and Natashia are going to the same home.  And yes, the reference did not elude me either.   And I LOVE it.  (smile)

This is our other blue girl with white.  She is so cute.

This is the second of our two little boys.  He is darling and sweet.  Cuddly too.

This is our little black tabby girl.  She is so delicate and sweet and purrs easily.

This is Mable, with.....a blur with white paws....hahaha

THERE'S  Mable.  So sweet and calm and laid back.
