Hoko had 5 kittens.

You read right, 5 kittens for Hoko's first litter.  She is amazing.  As far as I can tell there are 3 girls and 2 boys.  The female colorpoint has already been adopted.  There are two black and white tabby females and a blue tabby boy and and a colorpoint boy.  Pictures are coming, but I have to go out of town overnight and I'll put them up tomorrow if at all possible.  Although here in Culpeper, Va.  I may need a rowboat to get anywhere, it is raining so very hard all day today.
So bear with me and I will get some cute shots of the newborns.  And I want to put up pictures of all the kittens before they go home the next coming weeks.
I need the new moms and dads to call or e-mail their times to pick up the kittens, as I have a very full life myself, I need to tell you when I can be here as well.  Thank you... stay dry.  Until tomorrow......

Peaches and going home instructions for Maliha's litter.

Good Morning all,  well,  afternoon  now.  But Cherished Siberians has happy news about Peaches.  He has found a home to call his own.  And that is all 10 of these kittens from Maliha's and Gracie's litters.  BUT,  Hoko is due in just a couple of weeks now.  And she is looking big!  Especially for her first litter.  And I know she is going to be a great mom, because she helped take care of Gracie's litter of 4 this time.  Remember Hoko is Gracie's daughter from her last litter about a year ago.  And together they have raised them to be happy, healthy and playful kittens. (smile)
Now for Maliha's litter, they will be going home the week of the 8th of May.  A day or two early is fine, but mostly I am expecting people that Friday evening or Saturday (after 12 please, ) or Sunday (before 2:30 please).  And I just want to remind everyone to bring your cat carrier with you, because I have no extras this time.  And I will be sending you each home with a sample of foods that I have been feeding them and a toy and their health records and vet papers.    Having a cat carrier keeps your kitten safe,  in a strange situation for them, that they will find scary.  Trying to hold them is like holding your baby in the car, it is not safe.  And, being frightened, they may scratch you if you tried to hold them in the car.  A carrier is useful afterwards as well, when you take them to the vet, or on vacation with you, or whenever they need to travel.  So it is a good investment.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you soon.  Please make your pick up appointments soon.  Thank you.  Cherished Siberians.

Pictures!

It's been a long day here in Culpeper, VA, but I've got some wonderful pictures to share of each of the kittens.  They are growing so big, and they are all absolutely beautiful.

Here are Maliha's kittens:

Erik
Bluebelle

Erik and Bluebelle. They were hanging out together, too cute not to share!
Tuxedo
Sandy
Penny
Darby

And here are Gracie's kittens:

Locke
Zola

Oscar

And last but not least, Peaches

Peaches, our gorgeous and loveable cream colored male, is the only kitten who has not been sold.  He is a friendly boy, and he's definitely a cuddler!  He plays well with both people and other kittens, and leans toward the quiet side.

If you would like to buy Peaches, please contact me.  I will set up a time for you to meet him, or to do some allergy testing.

The rest of our kittens have found loving homes and they will be able to go home in just a few weeks!

Take me home dates

Everyone is gearing up to bring their new babies home.  Maliha's litter will be 10 weeks old on May 8th.  And Gracies will be 10 weeks old on the 18th of May.  So pretty soon I'll be an empty nester and Hoko will be delivering her very first litter about that time.
Maliha's kittens are growing great and eating solid foods very well , as well as still nursing from their mommy.  And they use the litter box just fine.
Gracie's litter have just started tasting wet foods and they are learning to eat it pretty well.  They haven't figured out the litter box yet.  But 10 days in kitten world sure does make a difference.  They are growing normally and are following Maliha's kittens' progress pretty much the same. (smile)  All of the kittens are so cute and cuddly, I just want to scoop them all up and give them hugs.  Actually, I DO.
I have 3 babies left to be adopted.  The cream tabby from Gracie's litter, the Blue boy from Gracie's litter and the Black and White tabby from Maliha's litter ( I call him Tuxedo, because, well, his four white paws and white chest......give him a top hat and a cane and an animated spot and , he'd be in a tuxedo.  hee hee.
Well, have a wonderful day.  Here in Culpeper, Va. it should be a wonderful warm and inviting day.  From Cherished Siberians, I am signing off for today.

Good news for Blue Ridge siberians,  Moshi Moshi and Darla have found their new home, and Kacy is very happy that they have remained together.  They love each other so much, they couldn't have gone to a home without the other.  So a happy ending for these two beauties.
Several families came in on Saturday for allergy testing and the cream tabby from Gracie's litter has found a loving family to go home to in 4 weeks' time.  And , possibly, the black and white tabby has a new home.  They are still deciding.  So there is still the blue tabby boy from Gracie's litter and the possibility of the black and white tabby with the white paws who are still available for adoption.
So lots of happy news for these sweet little babies.  I have fallen head over heels for a few of these babies and am so happy that I have been able to place them with families where I feel they will be loved and safe and well cared for.  It is such a privilege to be able to help otherwise allergy hindered folks be able to have a loving pet.  It feels good.
Have a happy day.  And Make Each Day Your Masterpiece.

Hello from sunny Culpeper, man it feels good to say that "sunny".    Cherished Siberians has been busy today and several more people coming to do allergy testing today also.
The flame point boy has a new mommy as of today.  He is the heartthrob of a Farmington family.  Isn't that wonderful!!  That's what I want to hear....."I fell in love and have to have this baby"  Yeay for my little "sugar".
I'll let you know if any others find homes with the ones coming in today.
Have fun in the sunshine.  Bye for now from Cherished Siberians.

I have pictures of the flame point boy and the black and white tabby of Maliha's litter.  These two still need homes.  And they are adorable, aren't they?  I've got to come up with names for all 6 before I can take them to the vet for their wellness check.  That should be fun.  Naming them takes time because we like to name some of them according to their personalities.  My daughter has taught me that.
He has blue eyes.  The camera caused a red look in the bottom picture.  But he will keep his blue eyes his whole life.  And his look really really blue .  I like the deep blue eye color.

My daughter has gotten a new camera and she is having fun with it.  I love it when she takes nicer pictures of the kittens than I could ever get with my Iphone. (haha)     And here a couple of shots with Maliha and her whole brood.  I have since put them into the living room where they have lots of room to frolic and play.  All over the cat stands and under tables and they love it there.  I brought Gracie and her 4 into my room because they still have a couple of weeks before they are going to be running all around.

Cherished Siberians is definitely very busy these days.  AND  Hoko IS pregnant.  So in about 5-6 weeks we'll have more little kittens to show and tell.
Stay tuned...same cat time...same cat channel.
