Pictures in place of Video that didn't come out.

GOOD Morning, from Culpeper , Va. Cherished Siberians is a happy and busy place right now.  Maliha's kittens are 4 weeks old now and are healthy and playful kittens.Here are a few pictures I will post since my attempt at a video did not turn out.  I'll need to try to figure out how to put a video on the blog that will actually play.   In the above picture we have the Blue Tabby with white and Torbie girl and Black Tabby girl and the other 4 feeding.

My little climbers, whenever they hear a human voice they are ready to be picked up and cuddled. I believe that is the Blue Tabby boy climbing up front with the Black Tabby boy looking up next to him and the Blue Tabby girl with white, behind,and a Blue Tabby girl with white and the Black Tabby girl in the background and the Blue girl , who is not adopted yet. (well her eyeball anyway)

Belive it or not, it has been a long long day for me today, and I am very sleepy,  I think I'll try to get more pictures if not a video up here in the next week-end.  I'll get help on how to make the video work.   Ok, good night for now and....get some great ZZZZZZ's yourself.

Look at the Cute Little Eyes Open

Ok, wait,,, I count 6 pictures, I'm going to have to do this again.  I missed one.  When I figure out which one I missed I will repost pictures.
     OK so enjoy these and some group shots, and I'll get back to the picture taking.
          So far I have deposits on both boys and the black tabby girl, the tabby girl with the white on her face and paws and the blue girl with white about the eyes.  The other two are still up in the air, I haven't heard back from the lady nor received a deposit for either, so I hope to know something soon.

Also the girl next to her with the white stripe on her forehead.  But I'm sure I'll hear soon about their adoption or not.

     Today is a nice day, not too cool and not too awfully hot.  And I hope it stays mellow for a few more weeks.
     OK, ok, I KNOW you want to see the pictures.  They aren't the most wonderful, but they wiggle a lot and its hard to get them just right.  As far as I can tell right now there are 2 boys,

And 5 little girls.

And out of the 2 boys, the black tabby is adopted, and of the 5 girls, the little Blue Torbie  is adopted.

 One Blue Tabby boy with white under his chin and around his eyes.  And the girls are : one Black Tabby with white paws, a Blue Tabby with white around her eyes and nose, A Blue with white, A Blue Tabby with white.

Hello from Cherished Siberians on July 25th.  Maliha had her kittens on the morning of the 24th and she has 7 kittens.  And they are all wiggly and eating and healthy.  Not ONE light colored kitten in the bunch.   Nor any reds.  There are two black tabbies and the rest are variations of blue tabbies.  A couple have torbie markings.   As always, I'm giving her a day or two before I try to get pictures.  But they will be on the blog in a couple of days.  One boy and one girl have been adopted.  And again , I'll post how many boys and girls as soon as I check and double check so I can be pretty sure of who is who (smile).  Sometimes it's hard to tell.  After the birth I thought I had 2 boys and the rest girls, but today it looks like I misread.  So I want to be able to have time to sort it all out before I tell the wrong tail (tale)  heehee.
     Thank you for keeping up with the blog, and I will contact those who were interested first and others my still call as I had a larger litter than expected.  Mommy seems fine today.  Much more relaxed than yesterday, that's for sure.
      So that's it from Culpeper, Va. for today.  I hope you are well and doing fine.

Kittens on the horizon.

     All of Hoko's kittens have gone home now. Zoli was the last to leave as his parents came from Texas to pick him up.

They came in and we chatted and his new mama held him and he just settled into her hands like they were meant to be together.   It was really cool , too , that I felt so comfortable with them, like we'd been old friends for a long time.  I really enjoyed meeting with them and am happy that Zoli got such wonderful parents to go to.

Ok, so kitten news is that Maliha will be due in about 5-6 days and I'm hoping she will have a healthy and happy litter.  We found out by accident (through her PKD test) that she is pregnant with 4 or 5 kittens.  So, not enough to go around for everyone who has contacted me, but I can only , fairly, go by first one who contacted me and second and etc.  So I will eventually get to everyone even if some have to wait for Gracie's next litter.  She will have had enough time to rest that she may have a "date" in August.  (smile)  But, also Kim Capes of  Blue Ridge Siberians has kittens right now.  If you're interested, please call me  540-727-8950 to get information about these kittens as well.

Hello, and good morning from Cherished Siberians in Culpeper, Va.  Boy is it a hot scorcher today.  Hope everyone is keeping cool.
     Evidently I haven't been clear about Hoko's kittens, all 5 have homes at this time. I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.
  GOOD NEWS is that Maliha will be due to deliver kittens on or about the 24th of July.  So we shall wait and see what colors she may have and how many male or female may be delivered.  I am sorry, but I cannot foresee what colors or sexes she will have BEFORE they are born.  I have been asked, but to even guess is foolhardy, as nature does take time and gives us surprises.  Please be patient.  But I do appreciate  the interest in my  girls and their kittens.  Please keep writing.  And those who have adopted Please keep sending me pictures.  I LOVE the updates!!

Allergy Testing Dates for July

     JULY promises to be a busy month, and I may be having a litter at the end of July.  So I have set aside two days that allergy testing may be done.  Tuesday July 8th and Saturday July 19th.  Please call to schedule a time on these days if you are interested in allergy testing.
     Culpeper is a beautiful and historic town, with lots of interesting shops on Davis St. and Main St.  So plan your 20 minutes or so with Cherished Siberians and then scout the town for bargains and beautiful pieces, or see the museum and many landmarks around the town.  Eat a wonderful meal and return home satisfied and happy.
