ABIGAIL's Kittens

 ABIGAIL's kittens are growing really well.  They are so sweet.  Their eyes are fully open and they are playing amongst themselves.  They cannot walk real well yet.  And ABIGAIL kept them inside the extra large carrier that she gave birth in (instead of her birthing box)  to this day.  Even though I fixed up a very comfortable area for her and them.  But she has her own ideas.  My cats seem to do that a lot.  BUT  ABIGAIL never minds me touching her kittens and loving on them.  As long as I love on her first and the longest. (smile)

AND  look at the difference now.

 

They don't play so hard that they have each other screaming yet.  They are just gently pawing at each other now.  The rough and tumble play  will be another 3 weeks or so away.

And they sure are sweet!!!

And they already don't mind me picking them up to cuddle.

ABIGAIL's kittens are usually that friendly and chill though.

I'll get more as they grow.

Introducing BOGDON {aka ZEKE}

 

My daughter and I took a trip to California , this was our view from across our room.

We went to pick up my new breeder boy ... 

 Meet ZEKE.  His Russian name is BOGDAN.  He was flown over from Russia by the cattery I got him from in California.

He had his own passport and everything.   I am keeping girls from my own girls DREAMER and ABIGAIL to become my new breeders next year, but that meant I needed a new male since they couldn't mate with GARRETH since his is their dad.

SO... WELCOME ZEKE.

These were first pictures when we picked him up and then in the carrier when we were on the plane.  It was such a long trip and he was a great traveller!!!!

views as I put my phone inside the carrier to get a better shot.  You can tell he was a bit nervous, but he kept a really good attitude all the way.

When he first came home, he did feel more comfortable under things, like this shelf in the living room.

But he did venture to the couch...

And even on top of the freezer...

He looks very young here.   We picked him up in July 2023.

This is a picture of his passport from Russia to the U S.

This was in September.  Feeling all comfortable in my livingroom on the couch.

And these are in October 2023.   He is getting very big, very fast.

   And compared to his first coming home picture here...he almost doesn't look like the same kitten.

But he is very playful, very loving and loves to cuddle. He will make beautiful kittens with great personalities.
