MALIHA'S babies with their eyes opened now.

I thought I'd better do this while I remembered I said I would.  haha  .

Cherished Siberians is proud to present to you, the kittens of Maliha with their eyes open.

 This is Maliha's only little girl.  She is spoken for already.  Sorry , folks, but Hoko has 3 little girls.

 One of two Colorpoints that Maliha had.  A nice big fellow.  Looks like a Bluepoint.

 My favorite, Cream Tabby.  He is a good looking guy, isn't he????  (smile)

And I could only get 2 good pictures of this little one.  He put up such a fuss, he had Maliha out of her wits with worry.  He knows his own mind already.  hee hee.  Look at those cute button eyes.

HOKO'S LITTER

I feel so foolish, I thought I'd written about the final outcome of Hoko's  litter, and looking just now, I realized I didn't.   Hoko had 4 that I had written about in my last blog post.  But then  FOUR and a HALF hours later....she had another one.  The final tally is 3 girls and 2 boys.  All Blue Tabby's and one Colorpoint.  The Colorpoint is a little boy.  The only other boy was (of course) a Blue Tabby as well and someone snatched him up already.
   So there are 3 girl Blue Tabby's and one Colorpoint boy available from Hoko's litter now.
     Both Mommy and all the kittens are doing VERY well now.  At first she wouldn't stay in the box with her kittens.  She acted very stressed out.  I went and picked up a bottle of calming spray and added that to the side of her birthing box, and you know???......she climbed into the box and settled down and hasn't had a bit of problem since.  I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it myself.  That little bit of calming spray was exactly what she needed.  And the kittens little tummies are getting sooooo fat.  That is a good sign.  And they are happy and well fed.

Here are a few pictures.  Sorry about Hoko's red eye.  I need to learn how to fix that. (smile)  So much I am still learning.

They really are so cute, aren't they?  Of course, their eyes aren't opened yet.

Kitten News Aplenty

     Good Morning from Cherished Siberians in Culpeper, Va.  What a wonderous morning it has been!  Hoko started in labor this morning and so far has 4 kittens.  3 girls and one that was just born.  It has been a long process for poor Hoko, but she is doing very well.  She is a very good mommy and has her kittens cleaned up in a jiffy.  I have been sticking very close to home and her for the last few days.  I knew her birthing was imminent.  I'll let you know later how many in all and more about them as they spring into the world on this first day of autumn.  What a wonderful way to enter into the Autumn Equinox.  

     Maliha's kittens are doing very well.  And they are growing into such handsome, great looking kittens. Nice round tummies, that's what I'm happy to see; plenty of mother's milk.  One girl is adopted already.  And possibly one boy.  And I have one under the thought processes of ownership. So there is one maybe two left in Maliha's litter.  But don't dispair, Hoko is doing her best to fill more loving homes wishes for Siberian heart stealers as we speak.   So, I'd better get my attention back on her now.  She is still cleaning the last kitten.  The other 3 are scrambling to eat.  Their tummies are full and round already. 

     Pictures of Maliha's will come in a day or two when their eyes have finished opening.  And they will be cuter for you to see them individually then.

PICTURES OF MALIHA'S KITTENS

     Good morning all my readers.  I have the newborn's pictures.  The little Black Tabby girl has a home.  There are 3 adorable boys who are available.  Two Colorpoints and one Cream Tabby.  My waiting list seems to have dwindled so you are able to adopt one of these without waiting!

Here is a good shot of all four of them in a row.  The Cream Tabby is almost a brown color.  He is so cute.

And here is the proud Mama with her four new babies.  She sure looks content.


     Also, if you prefer a female, Hoko is about to deliver this weekend (hopefully), and I am eager to see what she will have.

4 New Babies

Maliha has finally allowed her brood to see the light of day,  last evening Maliha had 4 kittens.  I THINK  3 are boys, a cream tabby, and two colorpoints and a female black tabby with white who has been spoken for a long time ago.
     So if you are interested, please contact me about the three available boys.  (smile)  They are all eating and squealing well.  all seems fine here at Cherished Siberians in Culpeper, Va.

Stubborn Maliha STILL hasn't given birth

     SORRY to all those anxiously awaiting Maliha's kittens.  She is determined to raise them inside and keep them all for herself.  (LOL)   Actually if she hasn't delivered by this weekend's close, I am going to take her for a check at the vet.  She is not in labor and is not distressed in any way, so I am hoping she will deliver on her own very soon.  Bear with her, she is on her own timetable, obviously.

     Hoko is also  getting ready to birth kittens.  Her due date is the 20th, let's see who has hers first.  Haha.   She looks REALLY good and she is in such a good mood.  And I don't anticipate any problems there either.

Maliha holding out

Well, no kittens yet, for Maliha of Cherished Siberians in Culpeper, Va.  We are eagerly awaiting their arrival.  She is getting in her birthing box a lot yesterday and today though.  So the event is soon to happen.  I will keep you posted.  I know, everyone is anxious for her kittens right now.  It seems like it has been SSSOOOO long since I've had any to be able to offer.  Keep watching , hopefully tomorrow there will be good news.

Kittens Now Available

Good Morning from Cherished Siberians in Culpeper, Va.  I am going to tell you about someone else's cattery. (smile) my friend and mentor, Kim Capes of Blue Ridge Siberians in Reva, Va. (very close to me)  has kittens available right now.  So , although Maliha will be delivering soon, hers are ready to go home shortly.  Please contact her at 540-229-4251.  And let her know who recommended her to you. (smile)  I like her to know I helped.  heehee.
    So, those who are waiting for MY cats.  Maliha's delivery date it (tentatively) September 8th.  Then Hoko's delivery date is about the 19th of September.  So keep on checking in and I'll give you the news as soon as the events come about.
