Hello, hello, hello!!
DREAMER's babies were born March 7th. She had an emergency a few days later and was rushed to the Vet. But all is well after an antibiotic shot and some IV fluids and instructions for home. And then I went out of town for 4 days ( my daughter took excellent care of everyone) . And so I am just now posting everything for you to know and see.
DREAMER has 6 babies and 2 are adopted 1 girl and 1 boy. I have been actively calling on my Waiting list and many cannot adopt now, so who knows how soon I may be getting to you. Hopefully I can help you all, because ABIGAI:L is due April 7th or so. Whoo-hoo!! I know, good news for many more of you.
Without further ado, let me show you some baby pictures.
FIRST, I started with the newborn pictures. Because everybody wants to see them when they are at their tiniest. And you can tell by my hand, in the various stages pictures, how they have grown. Here they are a little bigger than my thumb. ( Not much)
2ND They got a little bigger in just days. But their eyes were still closed.
THEN, you can see where their eyes just started opening. Also, you can tell the different days by their linens I keep changing to fresh, clean ones, because .... well babies stink when they go and ... poor things they can't help it.
DREAMER is a GOOD Mama. She dedicatedly stays with them almost every minute. Coming out to the litter box and to grab a quick bite and water and then right back in with her babies.
LOOK how much bigger they are already. They grow so fast in the first few weeks.
I'm looking over the side of the couch to take these pictures because ... could she give birth in her birthing box ??? NOOOO, she had to go to the corner beside the couch where I couldn't even help her much. But she feels safe and warm. So it's OK.
You see the pink insulation boards?? I put them behind her so there would be more warmth for the babies and her since she's on the floor and against an outside wall. Also the heater is right there beside them all.
But they are warm and cozy.
I have only two individual pictures so far. DREAMER won't let me handle any of them too long before jumping up there to grab them back from me. So that may have to wait a bit longer.
This one is a little girl.
SO that's the babies for now. As soon as DREAMER will let go for a bit I am going to try to get individual pictures on the tiny green couch or another prop I come up with for cute pictures.
As far as I can tell at the time of birth we have 3 girls and 3 boys. But as time goes on I will know for sure. This is that time period where even the Vet cannot tell. After about 5 weeks it becomes much more apparent.
So with a happy heart I will continue to call ones on my waiting list to find homes for these adorable little Cuddle-Cuties.
Have a great week and I hope to be calling you soon.
