DREAMERS's Kittens Eyes Are Open

First I will start off with some pictures I didn't get on the blog yet.

DREAMER with her 6 little newborns.  This is about 8 days old. They can finally generate their own body heat now.

DREAMER's kitten wants a kiss, or so it seems.  DREAMER is such a beautiful cat.  I miss her Mama HOKO a lot.  But she has a great home with loving parents.

Does DREAMER look like she is in another land in her mind?   She seems so content and thoughtful at the same time.

And NOW, the kittens have their cute little button eyes open.

Little girl.

I actually picked them up this way....I don't know how I got all three girls in a row. Hahaha

Which leaves.....                       A little boy

Hello six little babies with Mommy.

DREAMER's BABIES ARE ADOPTED.

If you are still on my waiting list, if you wish to remain on the list for the next set of kittens I am hoping to have more by the end of the year.  When the girls have kittens this early in the year, they can recoup and rest to make sure they are healthy and the Vet says ok,  we can look for kittens towards the end of the year.  There is no fee for my waiting list and if you want/need to come off at any time, that is fine.

Remember to make each day your masterpiece.

ABIGAIL's Kittens A Growing Brood

ABIGAIL's babies are so cute and friendly.  Here with mommy, still nursing away.  They have no interest in the wet food yet.  Maybe next week.  But I have seen one or two nibbling in the dry food bowl.  I don't know if they are actually eating any yet.

This little Blue W/White Tabby boy says "Hey!  What are you lookin' at?

The little Blue W/ White boy and the Black W/White boy behind him.

Colorpoint Boy ( the lighter of the two)

The darker Colorpoint boy.

Sorry my legs are in so many of the pictures, but when I'm on the floor with them, they just walk all over me.....literally.  hahaha.

My sweet little girl, with the black boy whizzing by, blurry, of course.

Blue W/ White boy and Black W/ White Tabby boy.  A Boxed set.

The two Colorpoints, one snuggling in at my shin, and the Black kitten is showing a smattering of white under his chin and upper chest.  And the Blue W/White boy cuddling on mommy.

Just can't seem to get all 6 in a single picture together. (smile)

Mommy says, "you can go now, I have them all in the box and I need my time with them."  So I complied.

ALL OF ABIGAIL's KITTENS ARE ADOPTED.

They are still quite young and little.  And their take home date is May 8th.

It's hard to wait, but it's the best thing for them to be with Mommy for at least 10 weeks.  I find , by this time, Mommy doesn't really want to nurse any more, and they are eating and drinking and are litter box trained and playing hard, and are fine to go to their loving forever homes.  And  that's how I was taught by MY mentor, so that's how I do things.

So happy picture day today.  I will try to get more as time goes by.  But patience is the key, I never know when I can get good shots, or I end up with a blur party.  Ick.  But I  do try my best.

Til Next time, .....

HONEY's Kittens Are Eating Wet Food

HONEY's little ones are enjoying tasting Blue Buffalo Kitten chicken.  They are doing very well with eating and know when I come in saying "Here babies, babies, babies", it means they get a tasty treat.  They also eat freely from the dry food bowl.  So they are getting as much food, as well as still nursing from Mommy, as they want or need.

So far they do well with eating most of the half a teaspoonful for each kitten.  They are still quite small.

Mommy is very happy to lick up any leftovers (smile)

So here are some fun playtime pictures.  I don't have many, these guys are very active and so many of them turned out blurry, so I will have to try to capture some more today.

They are all doing so well. They play hard, and are so funny.  They are bigger than my balled up fist now.  They will climb over my legs when I am sitting on the floor with them.

ALL  OF HONEY'S KITTENS ARE ADOPTED.

They will have loving homes to go to.  And everyone is eager for their take home date of April 24th to get here.

Hope you didn't get too attached to the warm weather, we have 2-3 days where it will be in the 20's again overnight.  And I just bought plants for my garden. ARG.  Now I will have to cover them over and hope for the best. But I am hoping for the best outcome.

Stay safe and warm until next time.

Fun Pictures Of ABIGAIL's Growing Brood

ABIGAIL's babies are just beginning to think about being adventurous and coming out of their box.  But so far none have stayed out to wander and play.

For fun, I took a Chewy box from the mail and cut a doorway for ABIGAIL to play with while she was pregnant.  But instead of her birthing box, she decided to have her kittens in the chewy box.  But that turned out ok because the top opens up when I want to see inside from the top and then closes up again so ABIGAIL can have her privacy with her kittens. And it maintains the warmth for the kittens very well.  So..........win/win.

Huddled mass all around mama.

Views from the top of the box. Two Colorpoints, One solid Black, The Black W/ White Tabby and the Blue Tabby girl......who's hiding?  Oh, the Blue Tabby boy.

Playing with Mommy.
Are we venturing out of the box today?   No, I guess not.

I want to come to see you, do I dare come outside?  This is the Black W/White boy and the Colorpoint  boy is right behind him.

                                   HELLO CUTIE PIES !!!!

Still huddling together.

BLUE tabby girl with the Black boy.

So, I just took them out to see what they would do.  They did walk around for a couple of minutes, but right back to the box and mommy.  It didn't last long.

ABIGAIL with one of the the Colorpoint boys.

So, lots of pictures and some I had to delete because they were too blurry to see.  These  little guys never stay still and it is quite hard to get pictures of kittens.  It literally takes me hours.

So enjoy until the next set.
